There are nine commonly used materials for the valve body: 1. Gray cast iron, suitable for working temperature between -15~+200℃, nominal pressure PN≤1.6MPa low pressure valve. 2. Black heart malleable iron, suitable for the working temperature between -15~+250℃, nominal pressure PN≤2.5MPa medium and low pressure valve.

There are nine commonly used materials for the valve body:

1. Gray cast iron, suitable for working temperature between -15~+200℃, nominal pressure PN≤1.6MPa low pressure valve.

4. Carbon steel (WCA, WCB, WCC), suitable for the working temperature between -29~+425℃ medium and high pressure valves, 16Mn, 30Mn working temperature between -40~+450℃, commonly used to replace ASTMA105.

5. Low temperature carbon steel (LCB), suitable for low temperature valve operating temperature between -46~+345℃.

6. Alloy steel (WC6, WC9), suitable for high temperature and high pressure valves with non-corrosive media between -29 and +595℃; WC5 and WC12 are suitable for high temperature and high pressure valves with corrosive media between -29 and +650℃.

7. Austenitic stainless steel, suitable for working temperature between -196~+600℃ corrosive medium valve.

8. Monel alloy, mainly suitable for valves containing hydrogen and fluorine medium.

9. Cast copper alloy, mainly suitable for the working temperature between -273~+200℃ oxygen pipeline valve.

The above list is a broad category of commonly used materials in the valve body. In each category of materials, there are many different grades, and various grades are suitable for various pressure levels. Therefore, in the selection of valve body material, should be based on different uses and different pressure levels, determine the body material suitable for the working condition.
