China International Foundry Expo opens

China International Foundry Expo 2010 and the 10th China International Foundry, Forging and Industrial Furnace Exhibition opened today in Beijing (Shunyi) New International Exhibition Center. More than 1,500 foundry companies from 40 countries and regions are participating in the exhibition, which will last until July 14. The output of China's casting industry in 2009 was 35.3 million tons (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), accounting for 1/3 of the world's total casting output and ranking the second to the seventh in the world's total casting output.
